Mallon de Theological College, run in the 1980s as Ekklēsia, has been a corporate member of Evangelical Alliance, marks for Cliff College (Methodist), is affiliated with Carolina University of Theology, and until late 2003 included a marriage/friendship ministry – Christian Contact (established 1977). It has a blend of academic, biblical, ecumenical, evangelical, charismatic, philosophical, & literary, backgrounds.
Mallon de is Greek, indicating precision, exactness, depth. We offer a range of theology levels validated & awarded by Carolina University of Theology (aka CUT). We aim to combine a meaningful level of study with excellent value for money.
Going to a good Bible College is great
if you can afford the payments, the lost earnings, and disjunction from
your local family/community. It offers great feedback, and often great
fellow student interaction: for some it’s a Bridal College! Memories
can be sweet. Yet for many, studying at home is more than adequate.
You can study with us by post and/or email. The basic method, known
as Distance Learning, goes back at least to Sir Isaac Pitman of
shorthand fame (1840),
and allows students and tutors to work from home, keeping costs down.
We are not linked to the educational year, thus allowing students to
begin on enrolment, and, within reason, to travel at their own pace.
Quality, practicality, & good stewardship, are keynotes.
