send us your details for an application handbook. Check if the course
is looks good for you. If we approve your application, we can usually
have your first year’s study course in the post within a week. There’s
no “start September” policy.
They’re the African Bible Commentary (Zondervan), & the New Bible Commentary (IVP), for all who start the Y1 (but not C1)
course. If you cancel registration within 8 weeks, you may keep them
at a deduction from your refund of 50% or less of their RRP.
You do all the modules, unless we allow you exemptions for prior educational credits at accredited tertiary level.
Multichoice assignments aside, our rule
for essay assignments is that markers are to be at least a level above
the student, and a minimum of BTh level. Our rule for Doctorate level
is to grade by three persons of DTh level.
While we link Year numbers for each course, we can allow extra yearly registration within reason.
Yes, but a friend’s library or the
internet might help. If bought new, reckon on basic books only costing
between £60-100 per year, since in keeping your costs down, we supply
study notes for most modules.
Yes, appreciable discounts are available via local church learning centres (CLCs) which will 1# set up an access library with at least the full minimum
range of textbooks, and 2# undertake to actively seek to enlist their
members for the course. CLC status is free, in fact they deduct payments towards their admin costs and in some instances retain marking fees. They may also involve local churches together networks.
We are happy to receive student applications from CLCs.
Carolina University of Theology (CUT), which has full membership in the American Association for Higher Education & Accreditation, Washington, DC, is authorised by the Accrediting Commission International, Inc, and recognised by the State of Virginia as a degree granting University & School of Religion. It has stated its aim to work for an optional further level of accreditation into full recognition by the US Secretary of Education.
